Hello and welcome!
This little blog here is where I will be journaling my progress in filmmaking as I create my first serious shortfilm in many years (or ever as the previous efforts might evade the label “serious”). It is mainly intended as a somewhat personal documentation of my thoughts, current process and learning on the go but I have decided to publish it in case someone else might find some little inspiration or support from it.
Instead of another “how to write/direct/light/shoot/whatnot”-blog (there are many excellent ones already) I aim to write from the angle of how I did certain things, what was behind some decisions and how did it work out in the end as I find that to be more interesting and something that I would have liked to read about when I first started on this journey.
DISCLAIMER: I don’t claim to know what I am doing at all and probably I don’t :D So take my musings with a grand chunk of salt.
